After sending shockwaves through the semiconductor industry following a third-quarter earnings miss, scrutiny is building ahead of ASML Holding NV’s results next week with uncertainty over the spending plans of its top clients.

The world’s most advanced producer of cutting-edge chipmaking machines triggered a fierce stock selloff in October after cutting its 2025 revenue outlook. Its shares are about 30% off a July peak, with the firm mired in sector headwinds and concerns about tightening China export restrictions under the Trump administration.
