Angola’s government said it’s made full disclosure of all material information related to a loan facility that’s become the subject of an arbitration process, and is confident that its debt is sustainable.
The statement comes a month after the Finance Ministry issued a prospectus on Dec. 20 for a global medium-term note program, in which it signaled that the government is party to arbitration related to a syndicated facility. It didn’t provide further details about the loan.
