President Donald Trump pardoned Andrew Zabavsky and Terence Sutton, two Washington police officers who were convicted over the death of a 20-year-old man after a pursuit.

Trump offered full and unconditional pardons for both men on Wednesday, following through on a clemency decision he had said he was considering. “We got to give them a break,” the president had told reporters.
