President Joe Biden granted a posthumous pardon to the late Black nationalist Marcus Garvey as well as four other justice advocates who had been convicted of non-violent drug offenses.

The White House issued the pardon list hours before Biden was to pay a final visit as president to South Carolina, whose black voters he credits with helping elect him to the White House.
