Charlie Javice, founder of the college finance site Frank, said her codefendant and former colleague Oliver Amar plans to turn against her at trial, a move that she says makes it impossible for her to get a fair chance with a jury.

Javice and Amar are charged with fraud and conspiracy for vastly inflating the number of Frank users ahead of the $175 million sale of the site to JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2021. They are set to go on trial together Feb. 10.
