An agreement between Kenya and the United Arab Emirates could boost the African nation’s meat and horticultural exports to the Gulf country threefold, according to a top trade ministry official in the African nation.
The economic-partnership deal signed by both presidents this week will help oil trade by simplifying export procedures and providing a framework for investment and dispute resolution, Alfred K’Ombudo, Kenya’s principal secretary for trade, said in an interview on Bloomberg Television.
