Dutch Seek to Screen Technology Students in Bid to Thwart Spies

The Dutch cabinet is working on legislation to require screening for scientists and master’s degree students who want to enter technology programs, in an attempt to deter spying.
All scientists and students, regardless of origin or nationality, would be subject to screening, Education Minister Eppo Bruins said in a letter to parliament.
