Anthony Scaramucci, Bill Ackman and many others in the finance industry have helped Whitney Tilson build his treasure chest to run for mayor of New York City.
The former hedge fund manager raised $424,968 in five weeks, according to the first filing of his campaign. He is one of several candidates seeking to challenge Mayor Eric Adams in June’s Democratic primary.
