Kushner Gets Approval for Luxury Resort Project in Albania Before Trump’s Return

Jared Kushner, US President-elect Donald Trump’s son-in-law, won preliminary approval from the Albanian government for a $1.4 billion luxury resort on a former military base on an island off the country’s southern coast.
The decision, issued by the country’s Strategic Investment Committee chaired by Prime Minister Edi Rama, allows Kushner’s team to begin environmental assessments and other preparatory work on the 1,400-acre site on Sazan Island.
