French nuclear generation climbed to the highest level in almost six years, compensating for lower wind-power output in western Europe.
Electricite de France SA’s fleet of reactors churned out more than 55 gigawatts of electricity earlier Wednesday, the most since February 2019. The nation is exporting some of that to Germany, where wind generation will slump to a low of 3.8 gigawatts this afternoon, or about 20% of the normal, a Bloomberg model shows.
