Buyout firm Advent has named Sergio D’Angelo to lead health-care dealmaking in Europe, according to people familiar with the matter.
D’Angelo is taking over from Tom Allen to run the health care team in Europe, the people said, asking not to be identified as the information is private. Allen will remain with the private equity firm, focusing on managing the health care portfolio in the region, the people said.
