GE HealthCare Technologies Inc. signed a seven-year agreement with Sutter Health to provide AI-powered medical technology and software upgrades to the California nonprofit health system, the companies said Tuesday.

Named Care Alliance, the agreement is expected to generate $1 billion in revenue over the span of the partnership, GE Healthcare said. It marks one of the largest deals for the medical technology company since the firm was spun off from General Electric Co. two years ago.
