Indonesia’s state-owned Bank Mandiri is marketing its first syndicated facility of $1 billion, according to people familiar with the matter, kicking off what many loan bankers have said will be a busier year in Asia.
Australia & New Zealand Banking Group Ltd., CIMB Bank Bhd., DBS Bank Ltd., HSBC Holdings Plc, Oversea-Chinese Banking Corp. and United Overseas Bank Ltd. are the arrangers for the three-year loan, the people said, who asked not to be identified discussing a private matter. The borrower has previously only raised bilateral and club facilities.
