MacKenzie Scott Reveals $2 Billion Worth of Donations This Year

Philanthropist MacKenzie Scott gave $2 billion to 199 organizations this year, bringing the billionaire’s total giving over the past several years to $19.3 billion.
About 75% of the groups receiving the most recent donations “support the economic security and opportunity of people who are struggling,” through improving access to things like housing, jobs, education, health care and low-interest rate loans, she said in a statement posted Wednesday on her Yield Giving website.
