Europe Has Choice of Doing Hard Work or Facing Next to No Growth

Europe faces dire economic prospects unless its leaders start tackling reforms and put the conditions in place for a significant increase in private investment, according to The Conference Board.
The 20-nation economy is set to grow by an average of just 0.9% a year through 2039, compared with rates of 1.6% in the US over the same period and 1.3% in the decade before the pandemic, the think-tank said in a report published Friday.
