More than two dozen FBI informants attended the rally that Donald Trump held in January 2021, which preceded a riot at the US Capitol to stop the certification of the presidential election, according to a report by the Justice Department’s internal watchdog.
None of them were directed by the bureau to go to the riot at the US Capitol, provoke the attack or commit illegal acts, the report said.
