French President Emmanuel Macron and Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk are set to discuss the possibility of sending European troops for a peacekeeping mission to Ukraine once a ceasefire is reached, people familiar with the matter said.

The meeting between the two leaders in Warsaw on Thursday will follow talks that Macron held with US President-elect Donald Trump and Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelenskiy in Paris on Saturday as diplomatic efforts to end the war gain momentum.
