South Africa’s government won’t work with McKinsey & Co. on next year’s Group of 20 gatherings even after the global consulting firm agreed to pay more than $122 million to resolve criminal allegations tied to a corruption scandal in the country.

“There is no partnership between the South African Government and McKinsey,” the National Treasury said in an emailed response to questions. “The G-20 Finance Track has no plans to work with McKinsey on the G-20.”
