ElevenLabs Inc., a startup that uses artificial intelligence software to generate audio in dozens of languages, is launching a new feature that will allow people to create and edit AI-hosted podcasts from various source materials.
The new tool ramps up competition with Alphabet Inc.’s Google and its buzzy NotebookLM podcast product in the fast-growing market for digital AI that can create convincing audio and video. OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, is also working on a program that can create synthetic voice.
