Egyptian authorities said five people were rescued and four bodies recovered on Tuesday, as search efforts continue for survivors after a tourist boat capsized in the Red Sea the day before.

Seven others are still missing, Amr Hanafi, governor of Egypt’s Red Sea province, said in a statement. The vessel had been carrying 44 people, mostly foreigners, when it set off from the coastal town of Marsa Allam. At least 33 of those on the boat are reported to have survived.
