Wizz Air Holdings Plc has a message for anyone considering the budget airline’s seven-hour flight to Saudi Arabia next year: If you want frills, bring your own.

Every perk, from water to snacks to carry-on luggage, onboard a Wizz Air flight will cost the passenger, because it costs the airline money to lug the items around, Chief Executive Officer Jozsef Varadi said in an interview in Abu Dhabi. So customers flying from London Gatwick on a new, pencil-thin Airbus SE jet will have to entertain themselves, he said.
