Brookfield Asset Management Ltd. is exploring a potential sale of a retail property home to luxury brands on New York’s Fifth Avenue.
The landlord hired broker Eastdil Secured to handle talks for the retail portion of 685 Fifth Ave., according to people familiar with the matter. While discussions are in early stages, Brookfield is eyeing a price in the low- to mid-$300 million range, the people said, asking not to be identified citing private matters.
