Phoenix Is Set to Break Record for 110F Days: Weather Watch

Phoenix is likely to break an annual record for the number of days above 110F (43C) on Thursday, according to forecasts from the the National Weather Service.
The city is set to see a high of 111F — making it the 56th day in 2024 that has risen above 110F. It tied the previous record set in 2023 on Wednesday when the high at Sky Harbor International Airport reached 111F, or 7 degrees above normal.
