Congo Gets Its Biggest Data Center Yet With Raxio Investment

Raxio Group, backed by global investor Meridiam Infrastructure Partners SAS and US private equity firm Roha Group Inc., said its opened the biggest data center in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The $30 million investment in the capital Kinshasa is part of a $290 million drive to build data centers across Africa. The center has capacity of 1.5 megawatts, the company said in a statement on Thursday.
