Billionaire Patrick Drahi’s Altice International has agreed to sell its video advertising platform Teads SA to US ad company Outbrain Inc. in a $1 billion deal that will help the telecommunications empire cut debt.

The deal will see Teads and Outbrain merge to create one of the largest open internet advertising platforms, Outbrain said in a statementBloomberg Terminal on Thursday.
