China Sends Warning as US Lawmakers Set to Meet Dalai Lama

China warned US lawmakers not to meet with the Dalai Lama this week during a high-profile visit where they’re also expected to hold talks with Tibet’s government in exile.
Beijing has “strong concerns” over the reported trip and urges the US to “see clearly the anti-China separatism nature” of the Dalai Lama and his followers, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesman Lin Jian said Tuesday at a regular press briefing.
