Mali Bank Workers End Strike After Arrested Union Boss Released

Mali bank workers ended an indefinite strike on Monday after a union leader arrested last week was released.

“We are now inviting all our activists to return to work,” Abdoulaye Keita, deputy secretary-general of the banking and financial services union known as Synabef, said in a statement. He confirmed Synabef Secretary-General Hamadoun Bah had been released.
