Goldman Prime-Brokerage Executive Anglin to Join Third Point

Goldman Sachs Group Inc. managing director Thomas Anglin has resigned for a role at Dan Loeb’s Third Point, according to people with knowledge of the matter.

Anglin is set to join Third Point, which had $11.5 billion under management as of March 31, later this year as a managing director and head of Asia Pacific marketing and business development, a newly created position, said the people, who requested anonymity to discuss an appointment that isn’t yet public.
