BYD Electronic to Join Hong Kong’s Benchmark Index

BYD Electronic International Co. will be added to Hong Kong’s Hang Seng Index following its latest quarterly review, according to a statement. Country Garden Services Holdings Co. will be removed from the measure.
The number of members on the gauge therefore remains unchanged at 82, index compiler Hang Seng Indexes Co. said on Friday. The changes are effective June 11.
