Augusta National Worker Admits Theft of Masters Memorabilia

A former employee of the Augusta National Golf Club pleaded guilty to charges he stole millions of dollars of Masters golf tournament merchandise and sold it to online brokers over 13 years.
Richard Brendan Globensky, of Augusta, Georgia, entered the plea Wednesday in a Chicago federal court, admitting to thefts while working as a warehouse assistant at the golf club, prosecutors said in a statement.
