Jay-Z’s Marcy Venture Partners Nears Deal With Pendulum Investment Arm

Marcy Venture Partners, the firm co-founded by hip-hop star Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter, is in advanced talks to merge with the investment arm of Pendulum Holdings, according to people familiar with the matter.
A merger between the two California-based entities, which would have more than $1 billion in assets under management in a combination, is close to being finalized, the people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information.
