UniSuper, one of Australia’s largest pensions, has committed up to $400 million to an energy-transition fund at Macquarie Asset Management that will invest in wind and solar projects across the world.

The Macquarie Green Energy and Climate Opportunities Fund is expected to include six seed investments across Australia, Asia, US and Europe, according to a statement from UniSuper on Friday. Australia’s pension funds are seeking more investments that will help them meet renewable energy goals across their portfolios.
