John Paulson, the man famous for a big bet against subprime mortgages at his now-closed hedge fund, is luring other billionaires back into Donald Trump’s orbit to support his rematch against Joe Biden.
On Saturday, Paulson’s Palm Beach home — purchased for $110 million in 2021 — is the setting for a dinner with Trump with admission running as high as $814,600 per guest. Paulson, 68, and his fiancé Alina De Almeida are expecting 100 guests who’ll stroll past Alexander Calder paintings before starting the evening on the covered terrace.
