Italy Expects to Face EU Infringement Procedure Over Deficit

Italy is among countries that will face a European Union infringement procedure for its excessive deficit last year, Finance Minister Giancarlo Giorgetti said.
“It is obvious” one will be opened, he told lawmakers in Rome on Wednesday.
