Japan’s Kobayashi Pharma Set to Tumble on Supplement Pill Recall

Shares of Japanese drugmaker Kobayashi Pharmaceutical Co. were set to fall by the daily limit after announcing a recall of supplement pills following complaints of kidney issues by users.
The stock was untraded Monday in Tokyo after the company said in a statement Friday that an analysis showed there were some “unintended” elements in the supplements.
