Mauritius allowed a cruise ship carrying 3,200 people to dock in its main port after placing it in quarantine for two days while it assessed whether it posed a health risk.

The Norwegian Dawn, operated by Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings Ltd., was denied access to Port Louis on Saturday. The vessel had traveled from South Africa, but skipped a scheduled stop at Reunion Island and approached Mauritius a day earlier that scheduled, without providing a clear reason.
