Spain Seeks to Reboot Stuttering €12 billion Chip Aid Plan

The Spanish government is exploring a new governance structure for its approximately €12 billion ($13 billion) plan to subsidizeBloomberg Terminal chipmakers, which would facilitate partnerships with the private sector and expand the number of people working on the project beyond the half dozen or so engaged currently, people familiar with the matter said.

The ministry is still at a early stage of defining the revamped structure, the people said, asking not to be named as the matter isn’t public.
