India Regulator Finds $241 Million Accounting Issue at Zee
- Diverted funds may be 10 times of what was estimated initially
- Zee’s merger with Sony’s local unit was called off last month
The amount found missing is not final and may change after the Securities and Exchange Board of India reviews the responses from the company executives.
