Prime Minister Sunak Made £2.23 Million Last Year, Filing Shows

UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak disclosed total income and capital gains of £2.23 million ($2.8 million) for the fiscal year 2022/23, according to a summary of tax filings released by Downing Street late Friday.

More than two thirds of the total came from capital gains of £1.8 million, the highest such gains Sunak has reported in four years. The prime minister paid £508,308 in taxes to HM Revenue & Customs, according to the summary.
