German Finance Minister Christian Lindner said that his country is getting poorer because of its failure to generate economic growth.

Speaking at a Bloomberg event in Frankfurt on Monday, the leader of the market-friendly Free Democrats acknowledged that it’s hard to avoid the implications of an extended period of little or no expansion.
