Bim Afolami, the UK Economic Secretary to the Treasury, says he’s on a mission to “connect capital markets” with “real people.” The City Minister joins hosts Francine Lacqua and Allegra Stratton on this week’s episode of In the City to explain why he wants members of the public to be as interested in holding equities as some are in cryptocurrency. “We need to make sure they feel as engaged in the public markets,” he says.
