Ivory Coast Halts 2024-25 Forward Cocoa Sales on Supply Fear

The world’s top cocoa producer Ivory Coast has halted forward sales of the commodity for the next season as concerns over the region’s declining production mount.
The country’s industry regulator stopped sales for the 2024-2025 season until it has a clear picture of expected production, said Yves Kone, managing director of Le Conseil Cafe-Cacao.
