Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. named Stellantis NV executive Mark Stewart as chief executive officer following a pressure campaign by shareholder activist Elliott Investment Management.
Stewart will take over for CEO Richard Kramer and join the tire maker’s board on Jan. 29, the company said Thursday in a statement. Laurette Koellner, Goodyear’s independent lead director, will become the non-executive chair.
