Lucid Group Inc.’s vehicle deliveries came in slightly ahead of analyst estimates in the fourth quarter, capping a rocky year for the maker of high-end electric cars.
Lucid said Thursday it delivered 1,734 vehicles to customers in the final three months of the year, beating the average Wall Street projection of 1,696. For the full year, the automaker produced 8,428 EVs, far short of its original target of as many as 14,000. The company cut its production forecast twice during the year as it struggled to recover from pandemic-era supply issues and inconsistent output at its Arizona plant.
