The chief executive officers of Banca Transilvania SA and OTP Bank Nyrt. plan to meet next week to seal a deal over the sale of the Hungarian lender’s Romanian unit, according to people familiar with the discussions.

OTP Chairman-CEO Sandor Csanyi and Banca Transilvania CEO Omer Tetik plan to meet on Jan. 17, two people said, asking not to be identified discussing confidential information. Negotiators plan to iron out details of Banca Transilvania’s offer ahead of the meeting, though the proposed price is unlikely to change, one of them said. Another person confirmed that the meeting is planned for next week.
