The driver of a car that collided with a vehicle in Joe Biden’s security detail has been charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and inattentive driving, and authorities said the incident did not pose a threat to the president.
Biden was unharmed in the crash, which occurred Sunday evening in Wilmington, Delaware. The president was leaving a dinner with staff at campaign headquarters at the time of the collision.
