German Chemical Industry Says Recovery Won’t Kick In Before 2025

Germany’s chemical producers say the industry is still mired in a deep recession and that a recovery is unlikely to take hold before 2025.

Nearly 40% of companies surveyed by the country’s VCI chemical industry association saw profits plunge this year due to lower revenue and high production costs. About 15% experienced losses, the group said on Friday.
