Bain Capital to Invest $50 Million More in Vietnam’s Masan Group

Bain Capital LP is raising its equity investment in Masan Group to $250 million from $200 million, the Vietnamese conglomerate said in an emailed statement.
Bain Capital, which in October announced its first Masan investment, will buy convertible dividend preference shares at 85,000 dong ($3.50) each, which must be converted into Masan common shares on the 10th year at a ratio of one to one, according to Masan.
