Jeff Ubben, the veteran activist investor who turned his hand to socially responsible investing at the height of the industry’s boom, is shutting his firm after three years.
Ubben’s Inclusive Capital Partners has started selling investments and returning money to clients, with “a meaningful distribution” planned for the end of the year and another in the first quarter, according to a memo sent to clients on Tuesday. The decision to close Inclusive Capital was reported Wednesday by the Wall Street Journal.
