The Danish government swapped several of its ministers after the coalition’s second-largest party changed its leadership following a decline in support in opinion polls.
Troels Lund Poulsen, who was named leader of the center-right Liberal Party earlier this month, will permanently take on the role of deputy prime minister, according to a statement on Thursday. The 47-year-old will continue in his capacity as defense minister, and pass on the economy portfolio to Stephanie Lose, 40.
